Part of UnitingCare Ageing Western Region, UnitingCare Ageing Springwood provides physical and spiritual care for over 150 ageing, frail and disabled people in the facilities adjacent to Springwood Uniting Church and in the centre of Springwood. Residents from all backgrounds, racial groups and religions are welcome.
Community Care Services are also provided to help people manage at home. Currently 80 places funded under the Community Options Program and 152 places under the ComPaks Project which assists people being discharged from public hospitals. A Male Carers Project provides workshops for men who are carers. Expansion of community services will take place in the near future with recent government allocations.
